It is planned that a system of road closures will be operating for the Torch Relay convoy and will involve only short periods of road closures on the route. This will enable the Torch Relay to travel through each area with minimum disruption. Traffic will not be allowed to overtake the Torch Relay or enter the Relay route for a short period of time prior to the Relay approaching and after its departure to allow crowds to disperse. In the event of emergencies, emergency vehicles will have access to closed roads. The Road Closures will be in place on the following roads: Torch route through Bradford area:
