Seb Coe Visit

Lord Coe, the Chair of the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games, spoke at a local business conference in Bradford to highlight the benefits the region had already reaped from the Games (28 direct contracts already won), and how they can continue to make the most of the opportunities that London 2012 has to offer.

He then attended the launch of Precious Cargo, the Stories of the World project, at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery. The project sees young people creating exhibitions in 15 Yorkshire museums which reveal the best of their world cultures collections in new and exciting ways.

Lord Coe also saw displays of sports from the Get Set project, and saw potential future Olympians when he visited Shipley Pool to see local divers in training.
